Middle School
Developmental (DSquad)
AJRA’s developmental squads are focused on teaching the basics of rowing, learning to be a part of the AJRA family, and providing basic conditioning. Developmental rowers focus on land-based training and general rowing knowledge, then progress to being on the water.
Middle school rowers are eligible for any of our DSquads, regardless of experience. We offer two Weekday programs and a Saturday-only program. All DSquad rowers should be enrolled in 7th or 8th grade during the season they are rowing.
